September Product Release Notes

We’ve been busy rolling out new features and enhancements designed to give you greater flexibility, smoother workflows and faster compliance checks. From shifting DBS check costs to candidates, to smarter reporting tools and streamlined UK right-to-work share code checks, these updates are here to make your processes easier and more efficient.

Plus, we’ve got exciting improvements on the horizon for our Support Chat and Help Centre, bringing you a more connected, responsive experience.

Let’s dive into what’s new this month.

New features & updates 

Candidates can now pay for their own UK DBS Checks 

You now have the option to shift the cost of a DBS check directly to the candidate. This reduces the financial burden on your business while keeping you in full control of the process.

The feature is fully flexible. You can apply it across all, some, or none of your DBS checks, depending on your needs.

To enable this feature, please contact your Account Manager or visit the Help Centre.

Questionnaire Report Improvements

We’ve enhanced our ‘Questionnaire Report’ to make it easier to extract complete datasets. The Questionnaire Report can now simply include or exclude:

  • Archived questionnaires
  • Archived candidates
  • Referees who did not complete references

These improvements make the process smoother and ensure you can access the data you need more efficiently.

Streamlined UK Right to work share code checks

We’ve brought the ability to check RTW Share Codes into the Referoo platform for our UK clients. Results are now delivered in a clear format, making it quicker and easier to confirm compliance without navigating multiple systems.

Support chat upgrades

A smarter, simpler support experience is on the way. 

We’re introducing new software for our Support Chat and Help Centre to create a more connected experience for you and your team. With these upgrades, you’ll benefit from:

  • A single, unified hub where you can chat with our Support team and access help articles
  • Automated workflows that help our team provide faster and more accurate responses

In the coming weeks, we’ll share more information, but don’t worry, you’ll still use the same familiar links from your Referoo dashboard.
