New background check Disclosure Scotland (UK) We’ve introduced a new check for our UK clients, Disclosure Scotland. This check expands our criminal record coverage across England and Scotland and fits neatly into your Referoo Hub experience, allowing you to offer more checks all in one place. What's new:
This check is a must for safeguarding your workforce. For more information on this check, please contact your Account Manager. New features & updates Referees can now download a copy of the reference report To increase transparency, referees now have the option to download a copy of the reference they have provided. This downloadable PDF is not branded and does not include your company information. It simply gives referees a copy of the questions they were asked and the answers they submitted, excluding any documents they have uploaded. Benefits:

New check status updates for our UK clients We know the DBS process can feel lengthy, and having clear, accurate status updates makes a big difference. We’ve introduced new improvements to help you track progress with confidence:
These updates are designed to give you greater clarity, reduce follow-ups, and make the DBS process smoother from start to finish.
Talent Pool and BD opt-in for phone-based referees You can now capture Talent Pool and BD opt-in consent when completing references over the phone and logging the information in Referoo, helping you turn strong referees into future candidates and/or note down Business Development opportunities. What's new:
This update makes it easier to grow your Talent Pool as part of your normal reference process. |

Holiday support & Partner availability During the holiday period, our Referoo Support Team will be running on reduced staff from 25 December to 1 January. If you need assistance during this time, our Help Centre remains available and is a great resource for quick answers while you wait for a response. Some of our Partners also operate with reduced capacity or have scheduled closures over the Christmas period. While Referoo will continue to manage and triage all queries on your behalf, response and processing times may be impacted by their seasonal availability. Please note, AFP will close from midday on 23 December and will reopen on 2 January. |
